Why Millennials Can Make the Best Social Entrepreneurs

Millennials are the generation born between the early 1980s and sometime in the early 2000’s. Also known as members of Generation Y, the millennial generation has several distinguishing qualities that set them apart from other generations. The millennial traits that are powering their significant role in social entrepreneurship are achievers, collaborative, entrepreneurs.

Millennials are very serious about their academic achievement. In the U.S., they are the most educated students. It is estimated that 94% of millennials believe college is necessary to succeed. After finishing studies, millennials are setting their eyes on succeeding in business.

Young people act in a friendly and collaborative way when solving problems that come up when studying. Millennials don’t go at it alone; instead, they work together. They do not only believe in themselves but also believe in their peers.

The entrepreneurial nature of the millennials is astonishing. This generation has unleashed a lot of entrepreneurship that rivals other times in the world history. It is believed that 55% of millennials want to start their own business one day. Many young people believe there has to be a better way to do things.
